Medicare and referrals
A valid referral from your GP or another specialist is required to claim a Medicare rebate for a psychiatry consultation. If you have a regular GP in Canberra, they can provide this and share useful background information. If you are not sure how to start, our team can guide you and your GP through the referral process.
